Facial Plastic Surgeon vs. Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Jess Prischmann Explains the Differences between a Facial Plastic Surgeon and a Plastic Surgeon
What is the difference between a facial plastic surgeon and a plastic surgeon?
Facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons perform surgery of the face, head, and neck. Plastic surgeons also perform surgery on the face, head, and neck. Although both specialties perform many of the same procedures, the difference is that facial plastic surgeons perform surgery on the face, head and neck EXCLUSIVELY.
