New Beginnings Through Reconstructive Surgery

When people think of facial plastic surgery, they may not immediately think of reconstructive procedures. While cosmetic enhancement treatments such as rhinoplasty, facelift, and eyelid surgery can certainly be used to create a more youthful, refreshed appearance, there are a number of other techniques that I use as a facial plastic surgeon to help patients who have suffered from conditions or diseases that have altered their facial features restore their appearance.

At my facial plastic and reconstructive surgery practice, I offer a wide array of procedures to treat the effects of certain conditions on the skin. These procedures include:

I also feel particularly privileged that, as a reconstructive surgeon, I am able to work with Mohs surgery patients. Though Mohs surgery has a high success rate when it comes to treating skin cancer, unfortunately the process often leaves the body with a number of surface wounds that affect patients’ confidence levels. By restoring the natural appearance of their skin, I try to help these patients re-establish normalcy in their lives while boosting their self-esteem – which is what I strive to achieve for all of my reconstructive surgery patients.
